A monitoring and evaluation framework is a useful way of making it clear to everyone involved in the process what their roles and responsibilities are.
The trick is to be inventive in how you ask the beneficiaries for their views. Questionnaires have their place, but it’s much more interesting and fun for everyone involved if you can think of more active ways to gauge their views. There are commercial tools available, at a cost, or you can get creative and make up your own!
